The Society of Florida Archivists is an organization of individuals and institutions with a shared concern for the identification, preservation, and use of manuscripts and records of historical value. The Society is dedicated to the dissemination of information about such records and about sound archival methodology.

Society membership is drawn from a wide range of institutions in Florida and across North America.  Members works with materials in various formats comprising myriad subject areas.

Mission: The Society of Florida Archivists seeks to connect, educate, and empower archivists and those working with historical records to preserve and promote Florida's documentary heritage.
